BFI NETWORK SW’s Director Lab 2024
Deadline date:Tue. 21st May 2024BFI NETWORK south west, in partnership with Bournemouth Film School (BFS), is pleased to announce a new Director Lab that will provide an in-person day of tutor-led masterclasses, followed by workshopping with professional actors and the chance to be offered £2,000 from BFS to make a micro-short based on your script.

FLAMIN Animations
Deadline date:Mon. 27th May 2024FLAMIN Animations is a commissioning programme for early-career Black-identifying* artist animators living in the UK.
Part of Film London Artists' Moving Image Network (FLAMIN), the programme aims to support artist animators as they take their first steps into a career working with the moving image, with development support and funding for a new work.
The four new 2-3 minute animation commissions will be screened in London and FLAMIN will support the selected artist animators in getting further exposure for their work.
FLAMIN Animations looks to commission Black-identifying* practitioners as a considered acknowledgement of the underrepresentation of Black artists within the art, film, and animation industries.
