Hello Everyone and welcome to my brand spanking new blogorama!

I started this blog so that I could riff on some of the amazing conversations that I have had (or eavesdropped on!) with filmmakers, distributors, programmers, and assorted creative visionaries at festivals and other events in the past year or so. I want to use this blog to talk to and link to some of these organizations and people and hopefully create a useful resource for independent filmmakers in the process.

In the meantime I’ll be posting some coverage from Tribeca – the fest is drawing to a close this weekend and I have had a sleep deprived 10 days immersed in it all.

But first here are some pics of the best action figures I have seen since somebody gave me Mad Murdoch from The A-Team when I was little – tracked down online by the ever intrepid Jess Search. It would be better if they weren’t both men but apart from that they’re pretty awesome.
