Please forgive my latest letter obsession. I’ve discovered Letters of Note thanks to Shooting People’s Cath Le Couteur and I love this one from J.D. Salinger explaining why he doesn’t want The Catcher in the Rye turned into a film.
RIP one of my very favourite writers.
