Films I wish I had made

If I had made the films that I wish I had made, I wouldn't have made them as good as the people who originally made them. So...er, none!

I cried watching

The Green Mile

I have never walked out of a cinema during a film.

Actors I admire

Hugh Laurie, Bill Murray, Michael Caine, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Morgan Freeman, Judi Dench, Kate Winslet, Harrison Ford, Samuel L Jackson, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Denzel Washington, Christian Bale, Edward Norton, Aaron Eckhart, Jason Bateman and Zach Braff.

Terry Pratchett, Roald Dahl, J. R. R. Tolkien, Paul Haggis, David Mamet, Jonathan Nolan, David Koepp.

My desert island discs

Foo Fighters - One By One, Zebrahead - MFZB, Alkaline Trio - Crimson, Finch - What It Is To Burn, Hoobastank (self-titled) The Ataris - So Long Astoria, Sugarcult (Start Static), King Blues - Under The Fog, Sonic Boom Six - Arcade Perfect, Random Hand - Inhale/Exhale and any album by Metallica (except perhaps St Anger!)

Books I have given my friends

Don't tend to give books to friends often, I mainly have filmmaker autobiographies, books on cinematography or by Terry Pratchett.

My death row meal

Roast Beef with yorkshire puddings, stuffing and all the trimmings with treacle tart and cream for desert!

The best thing I own

My (rather vast and ever-expanding) collection of DVDs.
