I left the cinema during: Nothing...you have to sit through films even if they're bad, because if you're going to insult something you still have to know what you're talking about!

Dreyer, Stanley Kubrick, Ingmar Bergman, Martin Scorsese, Richard Linklater, Steven Soderbergh, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Bela Tarr, Guillermo del Toro, Michelangelo Antonioni, Andrei Tarkovsky, Jean Cocteau, Alexander Payne, Wong Kar-wai, Roberto Rossellini, Akira Kurosawa, Georges Melies, Jan Svankmajer, Tim Burton, Sergei Eisenstein, etc. I've missed a lot of people off and this doesn't even begin to cover it all, but you get the idea!
