personal info

Films I wish I had made:
Casablanca, The Big Sleep, Hell is a City, Sapphire, Alfie(The Original), The Ipcress File, Twelve Angry Men, Klute, Duel, Get Carter (The Original), She's Gotta Have it, Malcolm X, Crooklyn, Do the Right Thing, Wonderous Oblivion, Casino Royale(sticking to what Ian Fleming wrote), The Thomas Crown Affair (both versions).

I cried watching:
The final episode of I Will Fly Away, the end of Silent Running, The Yearling, The ending of Dr. Zhivago.

I left the cinema during:
Never left the cinema during a movie but then I am fussy about what I pay money to see.

Directors I love:
Steven Spielberg, Stanley Kubrick, Sam Peckinpah, John Ford, Clint Eastwood, Quentin Tarantino, Sidney Lumet, Sidney Pollack, Kate Lane.

Actors I admire:
Sidney Poitier, Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Kirk Douglas, Michael Douglas, Burt Lancaster, Richard Harris, Peter O'Toole, James Earl Jones, Denzel Washington, Gene Hackman, Delroy Lindo, Edward James Olmos, Ving Rhames, Daniel Craig.

My desert island discs:
My Family, Jazz Collection, Anything by Johann Strauss, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Sebastian Bach along with some of the best tunes from the Rock Era(my personal choice of course), not forgetting some of my favourite authors such as Hardy, Dickens, Richard Wright(Black Boy/American Hunger), Noam Chomsky just for starters. Oh and my collection of books from the Folio Society. I would also have my music on an IPod just in case I lost the originals. And lets not forget my superb comic book collection.

Books I have given my friends:
Far From the Madding Crowd, Ben Hur, Death of a Salesman, Monologues of speeches for actors.

My death row meal:
Are you kidding!?

The best thing I own:
A fine collection of Books covering a wide range subjects and literature, as well as a superb music collection.

More:
Worked on twenty-five films and more than forty television productions. I also like to write poetry (had a few published), short stories and screenplays of which I am always plotting out ideas but never completing anything as I am so wrapped up in acting but the ideas are down on paper so one day I will get around to them and complete a best seller or an Oscar winning screenplay. Might even try for a Booker or Pulitzer while at it.
