See you all next June

andy-blog3.jpgSo that’s it from Edinburgh as far as this blogger is concerned. Everyone’s talking about the proposed move to June next year and a surprising amount of people seem to think it’ll be better. Personally, I’ve not had time to see the larger festival anyway.

Here are my fave films:

Two Days in Paris
And When Did You Last See Your Father?
Special People
Sugarhouse
The Waiting Room

Although I have to say that I missed a few major films that everyone was buzzing about: Control, Hallam Foe, Knocked Up, Breach and Once; and I only walked out of one movie: My Life as a Bus Stop.

It’s been a great five days, although the last few have clearly seen a decline in activities, so next year I think I’ll definitely come for the first half.

A big thanks to everyone I networked with and all the Delegate’s Centre staff who were always smiling and could never do too much for you. And to the incomparable James Mullighan, who cajoled me into coming and sorted out the superb accomodation for us.

This is Andy Conway, closing his laptop and heading for the airport.
