The British/Afghan Party – Epic!
Earlier today, the Channel 4 BRITDOC Foundation (who are awesome, and full disclosure, also good friends of mine) announced a new partnership with the Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program to take the innovative documentary pitching forum, the Good Pitch, on the road in North America. The first events to host the Good Pitch will be Hot Docs Festival in Toronto, SILVERDOCS: AFI/Discovery Channel Documentary Festival in Washington D.C. and IFP’s Independent Film Week in New York City.
BRITDOC have put money into three films screening at Sundance: Afghan Star, The Yes Men Save the World and The End of the Line and they celebrated in style on Tuesday night with a British/Afghan party. I’m still recovering.

Ain’t no party like a British party cos a British party don’t stop!
