The Berlinale Co-Production Market runs 14–17 February 2026, creating a hub for producers, financiers, sales agents, distributors, and broadcasters to build international partnerships through over 1,500 curated one-to-one meetings. Submissions are currently open for applications from feature films projects. Around 25 feature films are selected each year, with requirements including international co-production potential, a full script in English, and at least 30% financing secured, while a limited number of exceptions apply for projects from WCF regions, Southeast Europe, and Ukraine. Selected projects are announced in January 2026, ahead of the market’s intensive matchmaking programme at the heart of the Berlinale and European Film Market.
