Lovely film, from the first glimpse of his funny, turned around nose to the wait and see finish. The prurient part of me sort of didn't want him to go down to supper, but the romantic side was happy.

Wonderful and quirky film, really captured the time before internet sites made things easy for everyone and gave the simple idea a lovely sense of adventure x

Such a nice thing to watch as I ate my breakfast. Really liked the spare use of music and the gentle pace of the film - how it unfolded in fits and starts like real life. As a younger sister and the mother of a 19-year old boy it brought back memories of watching both my son and my brother at that age .
