    I had to watch it twice as I thought Ben's comment was a little harsh and not very constructive. But then I understand where he was coming from. The premise of the story needed more development and the dialog was ' On the nose' meaning there was no real set up or pay off. Thus not engaging the viewer. With the whole piece being so wordy the actors are weighed down and unable to move around the limited set. Not sure what Ben was getting at with the 'sure it was 16mm' comment but you could have used the space you had a lot better and got more creative shots. My first short had a locked of camera for the whole 10 mins but it was I think appropriate. Things needed to move more in this piece. Going digital is not a bad idea, I have directed on 16mm and didn't do too well because of the lack of money (and experience) and I don't talk about it in public. Digital with the discipline of story boards, shot list etc make for quick work. The replay of a scene on set can be invaluable especially wh

    I'm sorry but I didn't like it on any level. Are you sure that is 16mm film? If so save the cash in the future and shoot digital so you can shoot more and develop your skills as a storyteller.
