Some cracking ideas but this feels like a sketch that needs more working through to become really compelling.

It's a great great song you're cutting everything too but I don't really see a deep connection between the track and your story. The two elements sit alongside each other, both interesting but neither adding to the other.

Also the use of stills is a very rich seam to explore but if you're only showing a single image you need to make that image work. Very few of these stood out to me as a great images - if you're going to draw my attention to the photography then you need to deliver the goods...

There's nothing overly arty about the photographs but there are some sublime images in there, single images which tell big stories with out movement or dialogue...

Lars von Trier is a great director and yet I can't stand his film Dancer in the Dark because of the constant swinging of the camera. The same for Festen. Attempt to innovation has always been difficult to be accepted and,I am afraid, I am one of those who are not prepared to enjoy the novelty. I am imagining what your film would have been like if filmed in the classic way and, yes, I would have prefered. Still, it's good of you to experiment.
