About this film

I have loved the sea and the fantastic animals that live in it all my life but was very upset to find out that we were killing them faster than they could reproduce and that the fish we now eat could run out by the middle of the century. I read an amazing book by British Journalist Charles Clover that put the whole story together, provided workable solutions and pointed the finger at those to blame, so I decided to make his book into a film. Two years later and an enormous amount of help from many people and organisations and we are releasing in Cinemas in UK and US on June 8th World Ocean Day. We hope to bring awareness to this little known but crucially important issue.
