The thing with funny guys is that they can take a phrase or even a word we said, use it and make it something that we didn't think about. That's the reason we lough from word based jokes. This kind of jokes are usually named "double take jokes". It works perfectly in a comedy, usually a dialogue based one. This trailer director or editor is obviously one of those "double takers" otherwise, why in such a short time, in what seems like a very crafty movie trailer, the characters say almost everything twice.
It could only be one of 2 things: The director is either a bad comedian or he doesn't trust his audience to understand what he sees. Personally, I got offended. If you want to make a horror trailer based on repetitions than two repetitions is not enough. If you want to make a drama trailer than two repetitions is more than enough. If you tried to make both - You F A I L E D.
I think I'll be seeing that film only when I'll have some extra time - perhaps I'll be seeing it from Heaven
