About this film

Synopsis: A sand on glass animation which tells the exciting, softening and surprisingly story of a little fox searching for a friend. After a long search it looks like her wish is finally grantedAmi (Friend) is my graduation film. I started with idea development in September 2007, pitched the idea, art concept and storyboard in Januari 2008, started the animation in March 2008 and finished the entire thing in the end of May/ beginning of June. The premiere was in June 2008. After completion, the film has been accepted at serveral festivals all over the world (e.g. Netherlands, Germany, England, Czech, Poland, Russia, Afrika, etc.)With this film, I choose for a simple story as these have there own difficulties. I choose the medium coffee (or sand on glass) because I wanted to challange myself, learn more about animation and to expermiment with materials that I've never worked with.
