Larry Charles, writer on some of TV's greatest comedies. He's responsible for a lot of laughter, and this is your chance to have him critique your work.
Chris, I must say your words are having a galvanizing effect. I am hard at work (or rather that old alibi 'my unconscious' is) on some phrases that will put the viewer on the right lines. As you say this is a teaser where, short of the ultimate 'tone', a few words can be suggestive and informative.
For some reason this clip is being held over till next month's judgement so I'll try and get a vo version done in time for that. Thanks for your encouragement.
Chris, I very much want a voice-over but have been putting this off because it's complicated. My heroine, a sort of female Lemmy Caution, starts her recital in a little known language which fades into English. It is important that the translator is foreign also, someone who retains her Japanese/Scandinavian/East European accent. The v/o mood I am seeking is somewhere between 'Alphaville' and 'Last Year in Marienbad'.
It would help enormously if I had the thing written of course.
Thanks for your honest assessment Chris. This really is part of a pilot for the film I would like to make. Having someone to play Anima would do a power of good for the narrative of course. The 'making of' film has more about the set construction.
