About this film

A devout Catholic, working class Irish female punk and lifelong resident of Manhattan's rapidly gentrifying Hell's Kitchen plots violent revenge against her landlord for evicting her in the middle of winter. Shot entirely at night (and entirely in Hell's Kitchen) in a hyper-gritty, yet expressionistic style, WEST SIDE GIRL premiered at the Anthology Film Archives in NYC on Aug. 18, 2010, and was an official selection of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Foundation Short Film Showcase on May 26, 2011.
