Paid film internships in London

Does anyone know of good internships in film production companies in London? Or part time positions?


    Sara Putt Associates require an office intern that will support in the day to day running of the office and help coordinate our production research.

    We are the leading independent UK agency for film and TV heads of department, based at Shepperton Studios.

    The role includes general office tasks; taking phone calls, handling enquiries, scanning, photocopying, printing, managing office supplies, making teas and coffees, collecting post, arranging meetings, assisting other members of staff.

    Candidate Requirements
    * Have an excellent phone manner.
    * Have a good initiative and able to successfully multi-task
    * Be IT confident. In particular be familiar with computer programmes such as MS Word, Outlook Express. Some knowledge of online databases would be an advantage.
    * Enjoy meeting new people- a key component to this job will be networking so some evenings may be asked of the successful candidate.
    * Please note the location of the job is Shepperton, Middx. Please only apply if this commute is feasible for you.
    * Office hours are 9am-6pm.

    June 2019 x 3 months, with possible extension of 3 months on mutual agreement

    Trainee Scheme
    The Sara Putt Associates Trainee Scheme is a professional development and mentoring programme designed to support trainees working behind the camera in the film and TV industry. You will receive a range of professional support that will help you present yourself professionally, and successfully manage a freelance career.

    You are eligible for this scheme if you are a UK resident and currently have two professional credits but less than three years’ cumulative experience in your chosen department: Camera, Sound, Edit, Production Office, Art, Costume, AD, Script Supervisor. We are also keen to hear from you if you want to work in VFX. You need to be:

    In need of advice on how to build a sustainable freelance career
    Confident in your technical skills but unsure how to sell yourself
    Keen to build a peer group network
    Able to invest time in putting what you learn into practice
    Willing to be proactive and create your own opportunities
