INDEXWould anyone allow me to film in their living room/studio flat/motel room for a scene in a film?

I am due to shoot the crime film 'Karma' in 4 days and our location scout proved to be flaky. As a result we have everything prepared minus the location and so are desperately looking for a flat/house/motel room (or any room) to shoot a scene in over 2 days (Fri 14th/Sat 15th).
Or if you know of any location scouts we would love to connect with them.
As an aside we are also looking for a convenience store to shoot on the 19th.

You'll find a lot of 'flaky' people in the low end of the industry; especially if they're not on a wage. I'd suggest your best bet if you're after a motel room would be just to google lots of hotels in the area you're shooting and contact them directly to ask for permission.
I'd try as many as possible as from my experience if you contact say 10 you might get 2 or 3 that reply and avoid big chain hotels as they'll take forever to get back to you as it goes through all their various departments. Otherwise for a flat/house try airbnb but make sure you contact the owner first so they're happy with you shooting there before booking.

You can shoot in my flat, (on the Hyde Park estate, near Lancaster Gate station) if you and your crew can get up to the second floor, (the lift is being repaired)
It's been used by numerous filmmakers because there's space, and there are 2 doors into the living room.
