A Thousand Empty Glasses is a coming of age drama about a conflicted working class lad struggling to discover his true sexuality when thrust into 1930s high society.When Charlie Ellis moves to London, a nave and fresh eighteen year old, renowned artist and high society darling Arthur takes him under his wing, offering him a way into the life he seeks.As the mentor and student grow closer Charlie achieves his ambitions with a great job, affluent friends at exciting parties and a beautiful fiance willing to settle down with him for life; but when Arthur flees London without so much as a word why, Charlie tracks him down to the south of France in order to discover the truth.A Thousand Empty Glasses is about the strength to trust your instincts in the face of adversity while looking at the repercussions of a love repressed.THE AIMHaving worked together on a series of short films with no budgets, our team seeks to take the next step with the production of a polished short film ready for submission to festivals.
