Bea, Carol and Jenny, all born male, experienced the overpowering sense that they were trapped in the wrong body. As they grew older, that they were- beneath it all- women, was a secret they kept from parents, siblings, friends, and eventually girlfriends, wives and children. As they hit their 50s, and 60s, it became a secret they could hide no longer.
This film examines the journey they embarked on, and the bravery they possessed to carry through the mission they so strongly believed in.
