A story set in 1945. A young man named Henry has a special bond with his toy soldier, Frank. When Henry one day meets an upset girl named June, he tries to cheer her up by telling her about his soldier friend. June gets intrigued by this Frank character, thinking he is a real soldier fighting for their country in the war. The complications escalate from there on out.
