A Script Pitch Film!
On a beautiful autumn morning in the park, Heidi and Toby pluck up the courage to talk to on another...almost.
"Autumn" is a short romantic comedy written by James Collins who posted the idea for the film on Shooting Peoples Script Pitch news letter in March 2012. The idea was a simple, quirky love story set in one location and required two actors.
After responding to the pitch, James emailed me the 3 page script and we exchanged different ideas on how it could be done. I co-produced and directed the piece in early November 2012 (Just as Autumn was pretty much ending!) It was a one day shoot at Canon Hill Park in Birmingham.
Post Production took about 4 weeks in the new year and after recieving feedback on a rough cut we decided to use an original instrumental piece of music. The composer delivered the final score which completed post production in June 2013.
