Our dreams have two natures.

On one side there are images that make sense of our everyday lives, our experiences, hopes and fears. Then there are the others; dreams of dark figures and mysterious symbols, both haunting and seductive.
Without any root in our daily existence, their details slip away on waking. Jung called this elements of our collective unconsciousness; a symbolic substratum shared by everyone.
But what if what we’ve always taken for granted is a product of our minds, is something else entirely; fleeting images of a parallel world - real, tangible, concrete - which we can only glimpse through our dreams?
What if it was possible, through lucid dreaming, to gain access to this parallel world?
And, more worryingly, what if it was possible to bring these creatures of dream and nightmare over to our world?
