Minus x Minus is based on the "Gabi & Gerd" story. Set in the late 90's in north Germany it tells the story of professional daughter Uschi, who gets married to blocked artist Klaus, partly out of spite after a fight with her father, partly because she thought it was a good idea at the time due to a spiked drink. She and Klaus try to make their relationship work, which is not necessarily helped by Klaus' screw-the-establishment family and Uschi's uptight father and gold-digging step-mother.
The pilot "Natürliche Auslese" (Natural Selection) will start filming early in 2015. A teaser trailer was completed in 2014. Both teaser and pilot will serve as a means to promotoe the series in German-speaking countries.
