About this film

Restoring the People's Gallery tells the story of the world renowned Bogside Artists as they struggle to fund the refurbishment of their iconic Bogside murals in Derry, at the same time the city is celebrating it's title as City of Culture.

The documentary follows the struggle for funding to renovate Derry's iconic Bogside Murals. The Bogside Artists have opted not to apply for finance as part of 2013 City of Culture festivities and have repeatedly been stonewalled by the local Council.
