I liaised with the actors to initiate filming of the sequel, all of whom I remained in contact with to discuss character development. As all of the previous cast members were reprising their roles, the casting process was much shorter with only one major new character. The actress cast to play Bella Linton had auditioned for the previous film, but as the role was cut in an early draft she did not feature. With the sequel, her casting process was simply and there were only a few minor speaking roles
I also wrote the screenplay used in the final production, co-directed the film and remained in regular contact with the editor during post-production.
