From Margherita Catalani

About the film:

Home is a drama about family and belonging set against a backdrop of contemporary political upheaval and rising suspicion of migrants.

Following the break-up of her marriage due to stasis, Monica’s world is thrown into further chaos by the result of the British EU referendum. She panics that she may be told to leave the country and have to take their children away from their home and father. She and David argue about what she should do, raising the issue of belonging and home, and also clarifying the status of their relationship. Eventually, with Monica pressed at work for documents proving her right to work and reports of EU citizens being told to leave, she decides to go ahead with the citizenship interview.
