Short, silent narrative drama....Country of origin: UK/Netherlands....Synopsis: An old ladys heart is broken when the only thing she loves in the world is taken from her. But can a young thief make her happy again?...Background: Shot on location in the Netherlands in documentary CCTV style, 'In Which a Lady Suffers a Loss' is a no-budget short and my film directorial debut. It is the first in a series of silent shorts about loss. Production overcame an armed robbery, angry passers-by, nosey shoppers, wayward animals and a multi-lingual cast.
