Also love: There Will Be Blood, Out of Africa (can't help myself), Shortbus, Fast Cheap and Out of Control, The Squid and the Whale, Together, Once Upon A Time In The West, The Lives of Others, Raising Victor Vargas. Wholphin!!!

Any sappy film where animals get lost and have to find their way home despite nearly drowning and being chased by rabid wolves and large bears

I can't leave DURING a film even if it's so bad it leaves me depressed for weeks
