In this session Georgina will lay out all the tips, tricks and strategies to getting runner work and building a career in production management.
Georgina Bobb is an award winning Freelance Television and digital Production Manager, Entrepreneur, Speaker, Mentor, Career Coach Trainer and Author with over 15 years of production experience working within broadcasting, television, online video production and marketing. Within her 15 plus years experience she has worked as a Production Manager, Junior Production Manager, Production Coordinator, Production Secretary, Post Production Secretary, Production Assistant, Logger, Junior Researcher, Archive Researcher and Runner in Television creating international and UK based content across all television genres.

In this talk Aynoa will discuss how she found her first few jobs on productions such as Barbie and Napoleon without without an agent. She will also outline how to make the most of your first time on set, how to network to find more work and how to use diary services efficiently. Join our interactive session where a mic will go around the audience and attendees will be given to chance to introduce themselves and get specific careers advice from Jude.

Jude Winstanley is a freelance TV Line Producer and the founder of theunitlist.com jobs board. Working in TV production for 25 years, credits include; 'Sorry, I Didn't Know', 'Morning Live', and 'Virgin Media BAFTA's: Back to the Red Carpet'. Jude has hired hundreds of people on productions and helped thousands more get their foot in the door.In addition, Jude has designed and delivered screen industry training programmes, events and resources for a variety of stakeholders that include; ScreenSkills, BFI Film Academy and the Royal Television Society. She has been invited to contribute to significant industry developments by the Coalition for Change, the Film & TV Charity, BAFTA and PACT.

Finding work outside the traditional jobs on film & TV productions with Liz Burchill
Film & TV can be an extremely competitive and tough industry but there are many other jobs and career paths where you can fullly utilise your creative skills as a visual storyteller. In this session Liz will discuss all the options you have especially during time like the last year where the Film & TV industry slows down.
