A Common Sense of Place

From Mark Brindle

About the film:

A short documentary for the Isle of Man government about traffic sharing and allowing pedestrians and traffic to share space. This was to help transition in proposed changes to teh seafront roads at Douglas. The film describes traffic issues in Poynton Somerset where traffic design has changed the traffic flow for the better. Much of the covering shots were older clips shot in Poynton by Martin Cassini (Fitroads) who was the director of this piece. We shot new material in Bristol and Western Super mer and the interview with Ben Hamilton-Baille.
