Jameson First Shot film competition for 2016 is now officially OPEN. We’ve been saying it for years and years… this is by far the best film competition out there and we’re determined to see UK-based filmmakers triumph.

Can you please absolutely ask them to add Switzerland to their list of allowed current locations? The reason I’m here is that I can’t afford to travel to the UK. It doesn’t make much sense to screen the screenplays on that basis.

‘If this person is a UK citizen and has a UK address then she will be able to enter the competition and she has to indicate her UK address when entering. She will have to find somebody in the UK to enter the script for her as she won’t be able to access the enter section from Switzerland. If she doesn’t have any UK address and are not a UK citizen, I’m afraid she won’t be able to enter the competition.’
