Passing with a Fail (2018)
About:
For Me, Passing with a Fail is one of my proudest achievements and I class it as my debut short film. Despite making many films before this, 'Just the Usual' and 'StressTest' etc., I regard these as failures. However, the practical knowledge I received from these unsuccessful projects, proved priceless for this production. Highlights include getting over thirty schoolchildren out of school to star as extras in an 'exam' scene. Although a teacher shut down the shoot halfway through, it remarkably turned out the best scene in the film.
This project taught me whatever obstacles the film project throws at you, you can always overcome it. It also taught me how critical pre-production is and the importance of hard work and determination.
