Shooters Q&A

Films I wish I had made

Insufferably pretentious answer but 'As I Was Moving Ahead Occasionally I Saw Brief Glimpses of Beauty' by Jonas Mekas.

I cried watching

Internally, most films. Externally, I mostly retain a steely resolve. Bawled during the Rihanna scene in Celine Sciamma's 'Girlhood' for some inexplicable reason though.

I left the cinema during

I have never walked out of a film, yet.

Directors I love

Hou Hsiao Hsien, Edward Yang, Apichatpong Weerasethekul, Hong Sang-soo, Wong Kar Wai.

Actors I admire

Philip Seymour Hoffman, Dennis Hopper.

Writers I respect

JG Ballard, Don Delillo, Thomas Pynchon, David Foster Wallace.

My death row meal

endlessly revolving conveyor belt sushi OR that scene in The Simpsons when Homer is forced to endlessly eat donuts in hell.
