CK Goldiing
About Me:
Biography:
CK Goldiing is a British filmmaker & actor from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. He caught the attention of mainstream media in 2015 with '100 Musicians' - a high-concept endurance challenge that saw him survive in London for six months with just £100. Described as "incredible" by Red Bull, the project was a world's first photography challenge inspired by his desire to "get out of Sheffield for a bit." His subsequent projects expanded on the '100 Musicians' blueprint; documenting his captivating interactions with strangers. Follow-up projects include two-time award-winning '61 HUGS' (2018), 'The Bench' (2019) & 'Waiting With a Killer' (2020).
Championed by Red Bull, BBC, Huff Post, METRO, Evening Standard & Creative Boom, CK's unscripted verité style of filmmaking brings a relatable authenticity to his films, which, when combined with his natural charisma and unending curiosity, have drawn comparisons to titans of documentaries such as Louis Theroux.
Recognised for his real-time storytelling, CK's projects have been screened at Europe's biggest documentary festival - Sheffield Doc Fest - and continue to take audiences on unique journeys of inspiration, jeopardy and awe.
Living in West London since 2021, CK made his acting debut in 2023; playing the lead role in short film 'Where's The Money?' - a dark comedy crime thriller written and directed by award-winning comedian Joe Zalias. Playing Brock, a seemingly frustrated gangster having a terrible day, CK starred alongside veteran comedian and TV/film actor Justin Moorhouse. 'Where's The Money?' has been praised for its standout cinematography, gripping script and a humorous grit that has been likened to the early hits of Guy Ritchie.
Following 'Where's The Money?', CK won the lead role in 'The Angry Landlord' (2023) - an entirely improvised viral comedy sketch produced by Manchester creative agency KOMI. Distributed exclusively on social media, as of August 2024, 'The Angry Landlord' has amassed 3.3 million views.
In May 2024, Short & Sweet Film Festival Essex nominated CK for Best Actor for his lead role in 'Reminders' - a short film exploring the intersection of love and memories. The following month, 'Reminders' won Best Film at the We Make Films international film festival.
Additional to his creative ventures, in 2018, CK founded ICONS & MACHINES - a PR agency helping ambitious brands grow their public profile using powerful, proven storytelling techniques.

Fun stuff:
There's sufficient insecurity, envy and self doubt in acting without wishing I had the talent to make another person's film :)
In terms of films I admire deeply.... 'Duel', Terminator 2' & 'Shawshank Redemption'.
The beach scene finale of Shawshank got me perilously close to tears. I mean, come on...
The ones who convey so much doing so little.
David E. Kelley
Lets not discuss that, coz it happened in 2005 and the clown still hasn't returned it. Lesson learned. Okay, if you must know, it was 'Tell No One' by Harlan Coben — a beautifully designed book jacket, too.
Any and all lemon-based desserts.
My health. I don't care how repulsed you are by that answer, by the way.
