Hello!

I have been passionately involved in film and television for over 40 years. From a young age, I borrowed camcorders and created short science fiction films with friends, editing them together using 2 VHS machines sprawled over my parents' front room. Those early days ignited my lifelong love for filmmaking.

My career began as a Runner at a post-production company, where I learned about the world of broadcast. A significant turning point was my role as the in-house Editor at EMI Records, where I edited music videos for iconic artists like U2 and the Pet Shop Boys. While I always aspired to be a director, I transitioned into music video directing during the golden age of indie music, creating videos for bands like Ash and Elastica.

Most of my career has been spent as a television editor, as it was the best way of making a living, working on reality shows, cooking shows, pet shows, and documentaries for companies like National Geographic. I have edited numerous TV shows in the factual and light entertainment sectors, including "Big Brother" and "A Place in the Sun" for Channel 4.

I also enjoy working as a cameraman, a passion that has led me to shoot documentaries for the BBC. Although editing has been my main focus due to its financial rewards, I continually pursue indie film projects, especially in genres like Action, thrillers, and horror, which have greatly influenced me.

I consider myself an all-rounder, and my experience in commercial television has honed my skills in fast-paced environments. At this point in my career, I am eager to dive into more independent projects, as I feel limited by my current focus in television.

I have a fully equipped, up-to-date editing system and am proficient with most editing software, particularly Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve. I can take projects from start to finish, covering editing, grading, sound dubbing, and I am proficient in After Effects as well. I can deliver a project for broadcast and DCP.

Additionally, I possess a full filming kit, including a 4K large-frame camera, sound equipment, and a 4K drone—making me completely self-sufficient.

I’m looking to collaborate with like-minded, passionate individuals on exciting projects, or new concepts, whether it be in editing, filming, Directing, or offering my insights.
