About:
After also shooting BTS for series XI and XII, it was a huge pleasure to be asked back as main documentary filmmaker on The Promised Land. The shoot at Pinewood took place end of 2019 into 2020, and I captured all the making of it from the first day of production to the last, all in 4K, mainly on my FS7 but supplemented that with GoPros & other smaller cameras for specific shots and angles. Hope you saw and enjoyed the feature special Red Dwarf, and the Making Of films!
The Town That Boars Me (2008)
The Harsh Light of Day (2010)
Mind's Eye (2011)
Be Careful What You Wish For (2011)
Fun stuff:
Films I wish I had made:
The Dark Knight
I cried watching:
Batman & Robin
I left the cinema during:
Matrix Revolutions (due to what looked like a drunk projectionist!)
Directors I love:
Hitch, Kubrick, Ridley Scott, Christopher Nolan, etc.
The best thing I own:
My two Steadicams & Sony FS700 camera, awesome moves, spectacular slow motion, broadcast quality HD, variable frame rates & brilliant low light performance, my set of now indispensible LED battery lights, and my lovely Sachtler tripod.
