She has the perfect cure for lonliness.
This was a 48hr Challenge film. The Theme was 'FEAR'
We knew we would base our short around the actress.
There was a magazine that was on my microwave that I get every month and never read and generally throw out.
My brother came up with the phrase "I don't do fear anymore" which helped unclock the creative process and then making a cup of coffee an article jumped out at me. The other magazine that appears in the film is of course a fictional journal :)
Originally we wanted to film it all outside for practicall reasons so the exterior scenes we got permissions from several local shops beforhand.
Steve who lives outside london dropboxed some music and the piece we chose we played on set during the filming to 'get in the groove'
The actress was brilliant and able to take and go with anything that we threw at her so that and the tune really helped.
We had great fun.
