I'm sure there have been hundreds of threads like this before, but hey, I just resubscribed to SP and wanted to get some bang for my buck.
I'm looking to form a filmmaking collaborative in London. Not a formalised production company at the moment, but a group of people who meet up regularly – and keep in contact online – who represent as many different skills as possible in the filmmaking game. Basically, I've spent the best part of the last few years trying to push my own projects, often single-handedly, and I'd like to take some time to work on other people's projects, and try and help them realise their scripts and ideas.
Directors, writers, producers, PSMs, sound designers, composers, DOPs, MUAs, gaffers, grips, runners, caterers...etc, all of you would be welcome. We'd try and help each other and, in return, try and cauterise some of the stress and frustration that we've all felt on no-budget productions.
Please message me on here or email me at nick[@]theclapperbored.com if you're interested. Then we can come up with a catchy name and pool our resources to produce a couple of short films which will, ultimately, lead to great riches and acclaim.
