A great Short enables you to showcase your talents while freeing your imagination.

Great Shorts tend to have memorable characters, a cinematic palette and a satisfying plot.

This is tough to pull off.

Working alone, in pairs, and in groups you will:

Create a cinematic world for your story
Design clear characters represented by instant visual clues
Experiment with form and style
Beat out a hooky plot
Learn to write dialogue like poetry

We’ll experiment with form but focus on narrative storytelling rather than experimental filmmaking.

DATE: Friday, 8th November 2024
TIME: 10:30am to 5pm
VENUE: Central London
