Home Movie Day 2025 at The Cinema Museum on Saturday 25 October celebrates the joy and history of home filmmaking, from 8mm and Super8 to 16mm. The free, family-friendly event features archivists helping the public enjoy and preserve their films, a special 8mm lunchtime screening, highlights from the Straight 8 filmmaking competition, Chingford Newsreels from the 1950s, and personal home movies from the Mason family, alongside tea, cake, and a festive atmosphere for all attendees.
