The European Film Market EFM
The European Film Market EFM, opening its doors to over 200 booths every year in February, is one of the world's largest film fairs and attracts over 10.000 producers, purchasers, sales agents, distributors and financiers from 110 countries. Being the first film fair in the year, EFM traditionally is a trendsetter for new business models and a first indicator for the character of the upcoming film year. Together with their partners, the fair intends to bring together people through various and versatile initiatives on series, the African film market, documentary films and platforms for producers. Numerous events, panel discussion, screenings, face to face meetings and other formats provide for a relaxed kind of getting together. EFM takes place at three venues right at the Potsdam square in Berlin, the Martin-Gropius-Bau as the main event location, the Marriott hotel and the Berliner Freiheit. The EFM European Film Market will take place on 7 days from Thursday, 15. February to Wednesday, 21. February 2024 in Berlin.
