Amid the chaos of a violent anti-immigration protest, a teenage boy is party to a brutal assault. Running from the police, he finds refuge with a local shop owner. The woman takes pity on him in his desperate state and they develop an unusual connection. However, the attack will bear grave and immediate consequences for them both.
