While on holiday with her family at a lakehouse, seventeen year old Eliza becomes increasingly concerned when she sees strange things among the residents of the other lakeside houses, until she witnesses the murder of a man, drowned in the lake. But when she finds him alive and acting oddly the next day, she is convinced something sinister lurks beneath the surface of Black Lake and it is coming for her family next.
Envisaged in the vein of Jordan Peele's Us and Get Out, this screenplay is available for consideration.
