An elderly widow reasserts her own sense of independence with a surprisingly unconventional yearly pilgrimage to her late husband's grave.

Starring BAFTA winner Gemma Jones as Judith, Una Stubbs as Vera and Graham Seed as the Vicar.

Judith is alone. A widow with a distant son, she takes life as she finds it; she's an East End Londoner through and through. Devoting her life to her late husband Fred and her son wasn't easy, but she never sought thanks and never complained.
So every year she marks the anniversary with a pilgrimage to his grave, and every year she's reminded just how much Fred meant to her.
