Helicon Health, a spin out from UCL Business, was presented with the Award for 'One to Watch' in the 7th Annual UCL Awards for Enterprise 2014 on 29 May 2014.

The Awards recognise the efforts and accomplishments of UCL's innovative and entrepreneurial academics and students. The One to Watch Award specifically recognizes the potential of a young company that is displaying excellent business promise.

Helicon Health has developed a unique, cost-saving package of services to help improve outcomes for patients with long-term cardiovascular conditions. Initially focused on managing patients with atrial fibrillation for the prevention of stroke, the company's integrated approach combines patient management tools and advisory systems, with accredited learning and clinical governance. It is a model for the management of all long-term conditions.
