This was a short film produced for ITS4RK, a UK based charity getting computers to rural villages in Kenya. The film was created for AimHigher Sussex: "Aimhigher Sussex works with pupils from schools in relatively deprived areas, whose family have no experience of higher education. We showed the IT Skills 4 Rural Kenya film to a class group of 13-14 year olds, from Hillcrest School in Hastings, during an Aimhigher Sussex Social Sciences event held in University Centre Hastings, where they teach BA (Hons) Social Science.The film demonstrates the different ways in which communities live, particularly in relation to access to computers. The group watched the film with rapt attention and afterwards had a lively debate on how different their lives would be if, like the children in the film, they had no access to computers.
