Unjust Justice?

From Sanda Kolar

About the film:

As the UK law was changing to arrest people coming back to Great Britain with girls who had undergone FGM, community groups in London working on preventing the practice were having their funding cut. Womenkind International sponsored this film to educate and inform MPs about issues relating to this tradition.

Helen Pankhurst, Emmeline Pankhurst's great-granddaughter came to speak with a group of Somali women to explain the new law, as the the disseminated information was not being translated.
