This is a short excerpt from a short film I directed starring (and written by) the very talented Jumaan Short and the fantastic Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter, Age Of Innocence, Romeo and Juliet). The film went on to have a successful festival run, picking up awards for Best Short Film at the London City Film Awards, Best Actress (Miriam Margolyes), Best Screenplay and Best Director at the Fisheye Film Festival, and the Audience Choice Award at the Women's Voices Now Film Festival.
